أوسر كاف
اوسركاف ويعني إسم أوسر كاف أن القوة في روحه. "[1] أول ملوك الأسرة الخامسة، وأول من بدأ تقليد تشييد معبداً للشمس في منطقة أبو صير.[2] قام بتشييد هرمه في سقارة. أمه كانت الملكة نفرحتپ، إلا أن أباه غير مشهور، لكن جده كان جدف رع الفرعون التالي مباشرة للملك خوفو.[3] بالرغم من أن شخصية أبويه غير أكيدة؛ فلعله ابن الملكة خنت كاوس الأولى. وكان له على الأقل ابنة ومن المحتمل جداً ابن من جاريته Neferhetepes. هذا الابن خلـَفه كالفرعون ساحو رع.

يـُعتقد أنه كان والد الفرعونين ساحو رع ونفر إر كا رع .[4]اللذين تلياه على العرش. وهناك وجهة نظر أقل شعبية، تذكرها بردية وستكار، وهي أن الفراعنة الثلاثة الأول في الأسرة الخامسة كانوا جميعاً أشقاء من نسل الملكة خنت كاوس الأولى.
قد حكم لمدة سبع سنوات، حسب كل من قائمة تورين الملكية ومانيتو. وحسب يوسبيوس، قليل المصداقية، فإن مانيتو ذكر أن اوسر كاف قد قـُتل من قبل حرسه الخاص، إلا أنه لم يـُعثر على ما يؤيد ذلك من الآثار.
وقد كان له السبق في إقامة أول علاقة بمنطقة بحر إيجه. كما عمل من تبعوه من الملوك على توطيد أواصر العلاقة معهم. وقد تم العثور على إناء حجرى منقوش من معبده الجنزي على الجزيرة اليونانية "قيثيرا".
التجارة والأنشطة العسكرية
Userkaf's reign might have witnessed the birth of direct trade between Egypt and its Aegean neighbors as shown by a series of reliefs from his mortuary temple representing ships engaged in what may be a naval expedition.[6][7] Further evidence for such contacts is a stone vessel bearing the name of his sun temple that was uncovered on the Greek island of Kythira.[5] This vase is the earliest evidence of commercial contacts between Egypt and the Aegean world. Finds in Anatolia, dating to the reigns of Menkauhor Kaiu and Djedkare Isesi, demonstrate that these contacts continued throughout the Fifth Dynasty.[8]

Unlike most pharaohs of the Fourth Dynasty, Userkaf built a modest[11] pyramid at North Saqqara, at the north-eastern edge of the enclosure wall المحيط بمجمع هرم زوسر.[12][13] This decision, probably political,[14] may be connected to the return to the city of Memphis as center of government,[12] of which Saqqara to the west is the necropolis, as well as a desire to rule according to principles and methods closer to Djoser's.[12] In particular, like Djoser's and unlike the pyramid complexes of Giza, Userkaf's mortuary complex is not surrounded by a necropolis for his followers.[12] For Goedicke, the wider religious role played by Fourth Dynasty pyramids was now to be played by the sun temple, while the king's mortuary complex was to serve only the king's personal funerary needs.[12] Hence, Userkaf's choice of Saqqara is a manifestation of a return to a "harmonious and altruistic"[12] notion of kingship which Djoser seemed to have symbolized, against that represented by Khufu who had almost personally embodied the sun-god.[note 1][15]

Some 10 m (33 ft) to the south of Userkaf's funerary enclosure, there stands a separate pyramid complex built in all likelihood for one of his queens. The pyramid, built on an east–west axis, is ruined and only a small mound of rubble can be seen today. Although no name has been identified in the pyramid proper, its owner is believed by Egyptologists including Cecil Mallaby Firth, Bernard Grdseloff, Audran Labrousse (fr), Jean-Philippe Lauer and Tarek El-Awady to have been Neferhetepes, mother of Sahure and in all probability Userkaf's consort.[16]

لقد ذكر إسم اوسر رع في ورقة (وستكار)المنسوبه لأحد السحرة وفيها ان حر ددف إبن [[خوفو]] مثل بين يدى والده وهو يقدم ساحرا اسمه ديدى وقد تنبأ هذا الساحر بولادة أطفال ثلاثة ستلدهم زوجة كاهن هليوبوليس من رع إله الشمس ثم تسميهم الآلهة بأسماء تشبه في لفظها أسماء الملوك الثلالة الأولى للأسرة الخامسة وهم أوسر كاف وسحورع وكا كاو ومن المحتمل جدا ان تكون خنت كاوس قد تزوجت من كاهن عظيم في عين عين شمس.

Like other Fourth and Fifth Dynasty pharaohs, Userkaf received a funerary cult after his death. His cult was state-sponsored and relied on goods for offerings produced in dedicated agricultural estates established during his lifetime, as well as such resources as fabrics brought from the "house of silver" (the treasury).[18]

الروائي المصري نجيب محفوظ، الحائز على جائزة نوبل للأدب، كتب قصة قصيرة "عفو الملك اوسركاف - أقصوصة مصرية" سنة 1938.
