سيمور پاپرت
سيمور پاپرت Seymour Papert (عاش 29 فبراير 1928 في پريتوريا، جنوب أفريقيا - )، عالم حاسوب أمريكي اخترع لغة البرمجة لـِگو للأطفال. وكان قد درس على يد پياجيه، وتأثر بنظرياته التربوية. وقد درس طرق استخدام الرياضيات لفهم أفضل لكيف يتعلم ويفكر الأطفال، ولمعرفة طرق لاستخدام الحاسوب للمساعدة في تعلم الأطفال. ومع مارڤن منسكي، أسس معمل الذكاء الاصطناعي في معهد مساتشوستس للتكنولوجيا. وفي منتصف الثمانينات، عمل في كوستا ريكا لتطوير برنامج للاستخدام المكثف للحاسوب في كافة مدارس الدولة. كوستا ريكا، التي تملك الآن أعلى نسبة متعلمين في الأمريكتين، ما زالت تُستخدم كنموذج لنشر تكنولوجيا الحاسوب على نطاق واسع في التعليم.
