ملانيا ترمپ ( /məˈlɑːniə/؛ و. ملانيا ناڤس؛ [mɛˈlaːnija ˈknaːu̯s]؛ بالألمانية Melania Knauss؛ و. 25 أبريل 1970)، هي عارضة أزياء أمريكية-سلوڤينية، وزوجة رئيس الولايات المتحدة رقم 45 دونالد ترمپ، وسيدة الولايات المتحدة الأولى الحالية.[2]

وُلد ملانيا نوڤس في نوڤو مستو، ونشأت في سڤنيشا، في جمهورية سلوڤنيا الاشتراكية اليوغسلاڤية.[3] عملت كعارضة أزياء مع عدة وكالات في ميلانو وپاريس، وانتقلت لاحقاً إلى مدينة نيويورك عام 1996.[4] ارتبط عملها كعارضة أيزاء مع إيرين واري مودلز ومؤسسة ترمپ.[5]

حياتها المبكرة

وُلدت ملانيا في نوڤو مستو، سلوڤنيا (التي كانت جزءاً من يوغسلاڤيا، في 26 أبريل 1970.[11][12] والدها، ڤكتور ناڤس، كان من بلدة راديچى المجاورة، وكان يدير وكالة للسيارات والدراجات النارية لشركة تصنيع السيارات socially-owned.[13][14] والدتها أمليا (اسمها قبل الزواج أولچنيك) من قرية راكا وكانت تعمل رسامة نماذج تفصيل في مصنع يوترانيكا لملابس الأطفال في سڤنيكا.[15][16] كطفلة، كانت ملانيا وأطفال آخرين من العاملين في المصنع يشاركون في عروض الأزياء لملابس الأطفال.[17] كان لها أخت أكبر، إنس، والتي كانت تعمل فنانة و"المقربة منها منذ فترة طويلة"،[18][19][20] ولديها أخ غير شقيق يقال أنها لم تلتق به أبداً- من علاقة سابقة لوالدها.[21][22]

عند زيارة الرئيس والسيدة الأولى لمدينة الڤاتيكان في مايو 201&، قالت أنها كاثوليكية. وهي أول كاثوليكية تعيش في البيت الأيبض منذ رئاسة جون كنيدي وزوجته جاكلين وثاني سيدة أولى كاثوليكية للولايات المتحدة.[10][9]
