أندريه ويل
أندريه ويل( /veɪ/; بالفرنسية: [ɑ̃dʁe vɛj] ؛( 6 مايو 1906 - 6 أغسطس 1998) كان عالم رياضيات فرنسيًا ، [3] معروفًا بعمله التأسيسي في نظرية الأعداد والهندسة الجبرية. كان أحد الأعضاء المؤسسين والزعيم الفعلي المبكر لمجموعة بورباكي الرياضية. كانت أخته الفيلسوفة سيمون ويل.[4][5] الكاتبة سيلڤي ويل هي ابنته.

أندريه ويل أثبت فرضية ريمان لمنحنيات المجالات المحدودة
عام 1940 سُجن الرياضياتي الفرنسي أندريه ويل لفشله في الحضور للخدمة. بينما كان يقضي عقوبته في السجن لستة أشهر في ريون، أثبت فرضية ريمان لمنحنيات المجالات المحدودة.
