حقبة الپليوسين Pliocene (/ˈplaɪ.əsiːn/; archaically Pleiocene) (symbol P_O)، هي فترة في مقياس الزمن الجيولوجي تمتد من 5.232 إلى 2.588 مليون سنة مضت. وهي ثاني وأقرب حقبة في فترة النيوجين في حقبة الحياة الحديثة. يلي الالپليوسين حقبة الميوسين التي جاءت بعد حقبة الپليستوسين.

التقسيمات

تنقسم حقبة الپليوسين إلى ثلاث عهود، مرتبة من الأحدث إلى الأقدم:

• Piacenzian (3.600–2.588 سنة مضت)
• Zanclean (5.332–3.600 سنة مضت)
