كلاوديوس القوطي
كلاوديوس القوطي (Claudius Gothicus ؛ لاتينية: Marcus Aurelius Valerius Claudius Augustus؛[1] 10 مايو 214 – يناير 270)، ويُعرف أيضاً بإسم كلاوديوس الثاني، كان امبراطوراً رومانياً من 268 to 270. During his reign he fought successfully against the Alemanni وهزم بشكل حاسم القوط في معركة نايسوس. He died after succumbing to "pestilence", possibly the Plague of Cyprian that had ravaged the provinces of the Empire.

الأصل والنشأة
أصل كلاوديوس غير معروف بالتأكيد. فقد وُلِد في 10 مايو 214,[1] وكان إما من صرميوم في پانونيا السفلى أو من نايسوس في موئسيا العليا.[2] According to the fourth-century Epitome de Caesaribus, he was thought to be a bastard son of Gordian II,[3] but this is doubted by some historians.[4] The Historia Augusta makes him a member of the gens Flavia.[5]
