پوپ (موسيقى)
موسيقى الپوپ Pop music، هو نوع من الموسيقة الشعبية الذي نشأ في شكله المعاصر بالولايات المتحدة والمملكة المتحدة في منتصف الخمسينيات.[4] وما لبثت حتى انتشرت في المملكة المتحدة وكندا وشرق آسيا والقليل من الدول العربية من أشهر مغنيي البوب والملقب بملك الپوپ مايكل جاكسون، والملقبة بملكة الپوپ مادونا، أما أميرة الپوپ هي بريتني سپيرز. ومن مشاهير أغاني الپوپ بيونسي جاستن بيبر، كريستينا أگويليرا، باكستريت بويز، ويتني هيوستن، تايلور سويفت، كاتي بيري، مادونا، ليدي گاگا، جورج مايكل، نيللي فرتادو، هيلاري داف، جيسيكا سمبسون، آشلي تيسدال، آشلي سمبسون، مايلي سايروس (هانا مونتانا)، سيلينا گوميز، شاكيرا، باولينا روبيو، أديل وغيرهم الكثير. أطلق مصطلح اغنية بوب أول مرة عام 1926 وبدأت في أمريكا عام 1950 وهي تتنوع ما بين الگيتار الكهربائي والدرمز والأورگ، أصلها يتكون من تجمع الموسيقى الشعبية الأمريكية قديماً مثل الروك والبلوز، تعتبر موسيقى البوب من أشهر أنواع الموسيقى العالمية.
