فريق النادي الأهلي لكرة السلة هو فريق تابع للنادي الأهلي للرياضة البدنية في كرة السلة، ويعتبر من أهم فرق كرة السلة في مصر، وقد حصل الفريق علي دوري ابطال أفريقيا لمره واحده عام 2016 البطوله التي أقيمت في مصر

التاريخ

تأسس فريق الأهلي لكرة السلة في عام 1930 باعتباره واحد من أقدم أندية كرة السلة في مصر وأفريقيا.

الأهلي في عام 1930 كان لفريقين:

  • الفريق الأول القائمة: سليم البيادي - عزيز برصوم - أنور نيازي - علي محمد السيد - حمادة سويلم - توفيق جرجس - يوسف طنبوس - موسى سيري.
  • فريق الثانية القائمة: حليم الايوبي - عبدالعظيم عشري - زكي اللطيف - هنري ميشيل - صادق فرج الله - فارس قصبي

لعب فريق الأهلي لكرة السلة مباراته الأولى ضد الاتحاد أليكس أمام الملك فاروق "ملك مصر" في 1973

  • بطولة الأولى لفريق الأهلي في دوري كرة السلة المصرية في عام 1989 كأس بسيط.

2016 FIBA Africa victory

The 2016 FIBA Africa Basketball Club Championship (31st edition), was an international basketball tournament held in Cairo, Egypt from 7 to 16 December 2016. The tournament, organized by FIBA Africa and hosted by Al Ahly, was contested by 10 clubs split into 2 groups of five, the top four of each group qualifying for the knock-out stage, quarter, semi-finals, and final. Al Ahly won the trophy as the first Egyptian basketball team to win it in the new format. At this time, no Egyptian basketball team has reached the final match. By winning this trophy Al Ahly (basketball) became the most titled Egyptian Basketball team 3 titles 1 FIBA Africa Clubs Champions Cup + 2 African Basketball Cup Winners' Cup.

الساحة الرئيسية

حيث بدأ الأهلي في تكوين فرق لكرة اليد وكرة السلة والكرة الطائرة. ورأوا أهمية بناء ساحة لاستضافة المباريات على أرض هذه الأندية. بدأت عملية تطوير التصاميم والبحث عن التمويل في عام 1978 ، ولكن تم تأجيلها في النهاية بسبب مشاكل التمويل. لم يفتتح الأهلي صالة الألعاب الرياضية إلا في الرابع من فبراير 1994.

في 4 فبراير 1994 ، افتتح الأهلي رسميًا قاعته في حفل افتتاح كبير. بدأ الحفل بكلمات قليلة من رئيس النادي الأهلي صالح سليم. وأعلن أن القاعة ستطلق عليها اسم "قاعة الأمير عبد الله الفيصل" نظرا لجهوده ومساعدته للأهلي ، وحصل نجل عبد الله محمد الفيصل على ميدالية تذكارية. المباراة الأولى التي أقيمت على الصالة كانت مباراة كرة سلة ودية بين الأهلي ويحد أليكس. وعقب المباراة الودية ، كانت مباراة كرة الصالات بين لاعبين متقاعدين من الأهلي والإسماعيلي ، وشارك فيها أمثال محمود الخطيب وعلي أبو جريشة.
