خنداب (فارسية: خنداب[أ]، (إنگليزية: Khondab)، هي مدينة في البخش المركزي بمقاطعة خنداب، محافظة مركزي، إيران، وهي عاصمة المقاطعة والبخش.[4] وهي أيضاً المركز الإداري لبخش خنداب الريفي.[5] تقع بالقرب منها محطة آراك النووية.[citation needed]

الاقتصاد

المهنة الأساسية لسكان هذه المنطقة هي الزراعة والبستنة.[6] وتقع منشأة أراك للماء الثقيل على بعد 5 كيلومترات من هذه المدينة.[7] ويمر عبر المدينة نهر يُعرف باسم قره‌چاي، وقد تحول إلى نهر موسمي بسبب الإفراط في استغلال مياهه للأغراض الزراعية، فضلاً عن حالات الجفاف المتعاقبة وانخفاض منسوب المياه الجوفية.[8]

تتألف مدينة خنداب من ثلاثة أحياء، يتحدث سكانها غالبيتهم باللغة التركية.[9][10]

يُعد العنب أهم منتج زراعي في هذه المنطقة، ويُصنع منه الزبيب. وتُعد بساتين التفاح والطماطم من المنتجات الأخرى، كما تُزرع الفاصولياء والقمح والبرسيم. ويقوم معظم مزارعي العنب في هذه المنطقة بتجهيز محاصيلهم على شكل زبيب باستخدام طريقة "تيزاب"، ثم يرسلونها إلى معامل الغربلة ومصانع إنتاج الزبيب للتصدير إلى البلدان الأخرى. وفي الماضي غير البعيد، كان سكان هذه المنطقة يعيشون غالباً على الاكتفاء الذاتي، ابتداءً من زراعة جميع محاصيل الحبوب والقمح وصولاً إلى خبز الخبز وتربية الحيوانات المنزلية للاستفادة من الألبان واللحوم والصوف. وكانوا إضافة إلى ذلك يمارسون حياكة السجاد اليدوي. غير أنه مع مرور الزمن والتحول الصناعي، لم يعد من الممكن مشاهدة هذا النمط القديم من الحياة والطابع الريفي إلا في بعض المناطق الصغيرة من هذه المقاطعة.

التعليم

تتوفر في هذه المدينة حالياً مراكز تعليم عالٍ وجامعات مرموقة. تتألف مقاطعة خنداب من 4 نواحي ريفية ومدينتين، هما خنداب وجاورسيان، والنواحي الريفية هي: جاورسيان، وسنغ سفيد، وأناج، وخنداب، ودشت تشال. وكانت المدينة قبل أن تصبح مركزاً للمقاطعة جزءاً من ناحية وفس. وتضم المدينة مراكز منها: مركز خدمات الرعاية الاجتماعية (+الحياة) برمز 3025، ومركز الفكر الذهبي في مجال مساعدة مستفيدي الرعاية الاجتماعية والخدمات النفسية والوراثية لعامة الناس. ومن المراكز الأخرى مركز الخدمات الإلكترونية القضائية، ومكتبا التوثيق الرسمي رقم 1 ورقم 2، ومركز علاج النطق والوظائف الحركية.[11][12]

في 12 يونيو 2025، تعرض مصنع الماء الثقيل في خنداب لهجوم أثناء الضربات الإسرائيلية على إيران في يونيو 2025.[13]

2026

وفي 27 مارس 2026، تعرض مصنع الماء الثقيل في خنداب لغارة إسرائيلية. وقد أصيب بأضرار جسيمة ولم يعد قيد التشغيل. المنشأة لا تحتوي على أي مواد نووية مُعلن عنها، وفقا للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية.[14]

السكان

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 6,982 in 1,787 households,[15] when it was capital of the former Khondab District of Arak County.[16] The following census in 2011 counted 7,753 people in 2,186 households,[17] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Khondab County. The city and the rural district were transferred to the new Central District, with Khondab as the county's capital.[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 7,810 people in 2,358 households.[2]
