منبه (ساعة)

المنبه Alarm clock، اخترعه العالم الفرنسي أنطوان ريدييه عام 1847. ويتكون المنبه من عدد من التروس الداخلية والتي تنقل الحركة فيما بينها لتُظهر في النهاية حركة العقارب الثلاثة عقرب الساعات والدقائق والثواني, وهذه هي فكرة ساعة (آلة) عموما إلا أن للمنبه عقرب أخر زائد يتم ظبطه على توقيت معين ومن ثم تعمل التروس على توصيل الدائرة الكهربية الخاصة بجرس المنبه عندما ينطبق عقرب الساعات مع عقرب التنبيه.
