معركة پيونگ يانگ (1894)

معركة پيونگ يانگ (يابانية: 平壌作戦code: ja is deprecated ) كانت ثاني معركة برية كبرى في الحرب الصينية اليابانية الأولى. نشبت في 15 سبتمبر 1894 في پيونگ يانگ، كوريا بين قوات يابان مـِيْ‌جي و[[صين چينگ. وأحياناً يشار إليها في المصادر الغربية القديمة بإسم “معركة پينگ-يانگ”. ما بين 13,000 و 15,000 جندي صيني من جيش بـِيْ‌يانگ وصلوا في 4 أغسطس 1894, and had made extensive repairs to its ancient city walls, feeling itself secure in its superior numbers and in the strength of the defenses.
