الفن الصخري

في علم الآثار، الفن الصخري rock art، هي معالم من صنع الإنسان مصنوعة على الحجر الطبيعي؛ ويترادف المصطلح بشكل كبير مع الفن الجداري. كظاهرة عالمية، عُثر على الفن الحجري في عدة مناطق متنوعة ثقافياً في العالم. أُنتج الفن الحجري في سياقات عدة عبر التاريخ الإنساني، بالرغم من أن أغلبية الفن الحجري المسجل إثنوگرافياً تم إنتاجه كجزء من طقوس. عادة ما تنقسم هذه الأعمال الفنية إلى ثلاثة أشكال: نقوش ما قبل التاريخ، والتي تم حفرها على سطح الأحجار، الرسوم الصورية، والتي تم رسمها على السطح، والشخصيات الأرضية، والتي تم تشكيلها على سطح الأرض. تعود أقدم أعمال الفن الحجري إلى العصر الحجري القديم العلوي، والتي عُثر عليها في أوروپا، أستراليا، آسيا وأفريقيا. يعتقد علماء الآثار الذين قاموا بدراسة هذه الأعمال الفنية أنها من المرجح أن يكون لديها أثر ديني-سحري.

• الفن الحجري الصحراوي:
  • طاسيلي ناجر في الجزائر – منتزه وطني وموقع تراث عالمي، يشتهر برسوماته القديمة التي تعود إلى 10.000 سنة مضت.
  • كهف السباحين هو كهف في جنوب غرب مصر، على امتداد الحافة الغربية لهضبة الجلف الكبير في وسط الصحراء الشرقية. أكتشف في أكتوبر 1933 بواسطة المستكشف المجري لاسزلو ألماسي. يضم الموقع رسوم حجرية لشخصيات بشرية والتي تظهر سابحة، ويقدر أنها رسمت منذ 6.000-7.000 سنة مضت. كهف الوحوش، على بعد 10 كم غرباً أكتشف في 2002.
  • جبل العوينات، جبل ضخم من الجرانيت والحجر الجيري، فضلاً عن الصخور الأصغر المتاخمة لجبل أركنو وجبل كيسو على الحدود الثلاثة المتقاربة لمصر، ليبيا والسودان، وتعتبر من أغنى المناطق بالفن الحجري ما قبل التاريخ في الصحراء بالكامل.
