دانيال روتن كريگ Daniel Wroughton Craig (ولد في 2 مارس 1968) هو ممثل إنجليزي اختير ليكون سادس من يقوم بدور العميل السري جيمس بوند في الفيلم الواحد والعشرين من السلسلة (كازينو رويال) ويعتبر دانييل كرايغ أول جيمس بوند أشقر الشعر ، كما أنه ثاني بريطاني يقوم ببطولة هذه السلسلة.

ولد كريَج في تشيستر، إنجلترا. ترعرع في بريسكوت، بالقرب من ليفربول القريبة من تشيستر. بعد التحاقه بمدرسة كالداي اللغوية، انتقل إلى لندن عندما كان عمره 16 للإنضمام إلى مسرح الشباب الوطني. بعد تدرّبه، تخرج في عام 1991، وقد قام بأول دور رئيسي له على الشاشة بعد مشاركته بالتمثيل في مسلسل تلفزيوني أنتجته البي بي سي عام 1996 وهو "أصدقاؤنا في الشمال".
بعد ذلك شارك في أعمال معروفة أكثر دوليًا، فقد مثّل دور عدو أنجيلينا جولي في فيلم لارا كرفت: توم رايدر (عام 2001). تلى ذلك العديد من الأعمال في الولايات المتحدة، من بينها فيلم سام ميندز السينمائي "الطريق إلى الجحيم" (عام 2002)، مع توم هانكس، ولعب كريغ دور "كونور روني"، ابن لمجرم آيرلندي. تضمنت أدواره الرئيسية الأخرى "سيف الشرف" (2001)، و "سيلفيا" (2003) مع غوينيث بالترو، و "الحب الدائم" (2004) مع رايز إفانس. وقام بدور ستيف Steve في فيلم ميونخ في العام (2005). في عام 2006، بعد إكمال العمل بفيلم الكازينو رويال، انتقل كريغ إلى تصوير شخصية اللورد أسرييل في الفيلم القادم لرواية فيليب بولمان، "البوصلة الذهبية". وبعدها أتجه إلى بوند 22 ،ليظهر مرة أخرى بدور العميل 007 للمرة الثانية وهو الآن يقوم بتصوير الفلم الذي يمتد تصويرة قرابة 6 شهور .
