جون وليام ميلر

جون وليام ميلر John William Miller (و. 8 يناير 1895 - ت. 1978)، هو فيلسوف أمريكي في التقليد المثالي. ظهرت أعماله في ستة أجزاء منشورة، من بينها المفارقة السببية (1979) وأحدثها مهمة النقد (2006). كانت طموحاته الفلسفية الرئيسية هي؛ 1) التوفيق بين مثالية جوزاياه رويس وپراگماتية وليام جيمس، و2) دمج الفكر الفلسفي والفكر التاريخي. كاستشهاد على الطبيعة التكاملية لتفكيره، يشار لفلسفة ميلر "بالمثالية التاريخية" و"المثالية الطبيعية".
