تشي تشتا الثاني

تشي تشتا الثاني (خمير وسطى: ជ័យជេដ្ឋាទី២ pronounced [cɨj.ceit.tʰaː tiː piː], 1576–1628) كان ملك كمبوديا، التي حكمها من أودونگ، التي تقع على بعد 40 كم شمال غرب مدينة پنوم پنه الحالية، من 1618 حتى 1628. وقد كان ابن الملك سري سوري يوپيار (حكم 1603-1618). He is noted for moving the royal capital from Srei Sonthor to Oudong, and for his cooperation with the Nguyễn Lords of Vietnam against the Siamese, which led to the Vietnamese annexation of the Mekong Delta, including the city of Prey Nokor—the precursor of modern-day Ho Chi Minh City.[1][2]

للتخلص من سيطرة سيام، فإنه يستنجد بالڤيتناميين الذين كان قد تزوج منهم الأميرة وين فوك نگوك وين، ابنة حاكم جنوب ڤيتنام وين فوك وين في العام السابق.[3][4] ويمنح ڤيتنام حق إقامة مستوطنات في مو شواي (الآن با ريا) في منطقة پري نوكور - التي يشيع الإشارة إليها بالعامية بإسم "ساي گون"، التي ستصبح لاحقاً مدينة هو تشي منه..[1][5]

شركة الهند الشرقية الهولندية ترسي علاقات مع كمبوديا في 1620، في عهد تشي تشتا؛ وفي 1623، يأسسون ثغراً في كومپونگ لوونگ، الميناء النهري القريب من أودونگ.
