إليوميناتي أو المستنيرون Illuminati (وهي صيغة الجمع للكلمة اللاتينية illuminatus، وتعني "المستنير") هي الاسم المعطى لعدة جماعات، تاريخية ومعاصرة، حقيقية وخيالية. تاريخياً، أشار الاسم تحديداً إلى الإليوميناتي الباڤاريين، الجمعية السرية من عصر التنوير، والتي تأسست في 1 مايو 1776.

أدم ڤايس‌هاوپت، المؤسس

في العصور الحديثة، المصطلح يُستخدم أيضاً للإشارة إلى منظمة تآمرية مزعومة تعمل بصفتها "السلطة وراء العرش" في الخفاء، يُزعم سيطرتها على شئون العالم عبر الحكومات والشركات الحالية، عادة كبعث جديد أو مواصلة للإليوميناتي الباڤاريين. وفي هذا السياق، فإن المستنيرين Illuminati يُعتقد أنهم العقل المدبر وراء الأحداث التي تؤدي إلى تأسيس نظام عالمي جديد.

تأسست الحركة في 1 مايو 1776, في إنگول‌شتات (باڤاريا العليا) كتنظيم المستنيرين Order of the Illuminati، بعضوية مبدئية خمسة أعضاء،[1] by تلميذ الجزويت، أدم ڤايس‌هاوپت (ت. 1830)،[2] الذي كان أول أستاذ جامعي غير كهنوتي في الشريعة المسيحية في جامعة إنگول‌شتات.[3] تكونت الحركة من مفكرين أحرار كإنبثاق من التنوير، وبدا أن اتخذوا نمط الماسونيين.[4]

أعمال روبيسون وبارول مهدت الطريق لهما إلى الولايات المتحدة. وفي جميع أرجاء نيو إنگلاند، خطب القس جديدياه مورس وغيره ضد المستنيرين، وطُبعت خطبهم وتابعت الصحافة الموضوع. خفت الاهتمام بالموضوع في العقد الأول من 1800، بالرغم من أنه عاد ليظهر في الرأي العام ضمن الحركة المناهضة للماسونية في عقدي 1820 و 1830.[5]

إليوميناتي الحديثة

كتاب مثل مارك دايس،[6] ديڤيد آيك، تكس مارز، ريان برك، يوري لينا ومورگان گريكار جادلوا أن المستنيرين الباڤاريين مازالوا باقين ربما حتى اليوم. العديد من تلك النظريات تقترح أن أحداث العالم يسيطر عليها ويتحكم فيها جمعية سرية تسمي نفسها إليوميناتي Illuminati.[7][8] ادعى منظرو المؤمرات أن العديد من المشاهير كانوا أو مازالوا أعضاء في إليوميناتي. رؤساء الولايات المتحدة هم هدف شائع لمثل تلك الادعاءات [9][10]
