التاپير البرازيلي أو التاپير الأمريكي الجنوبي (Tapirus terrestris)، أو تاپير الأراضي الوطيئة، هو أحد الأنواع الخمسة في فصيلة اتاپير، مع التاپير الجبلي، تاپير الملايو، وتاپير بيرد ،^[2] وتاپير كابوماني.^[3] ويعتبر ثاني أكبر الثدييات البرية في أمريكا الجنوبية بعد تاپير بيرد.
