لويس شپور Louis Spohr (ولد 5 أبريل 1784 وتوفى 22 أكتوبر 1859)، عـُمِّدَ بإسم لودڤيگ شپور، موسيقي ألماني وعازف كمان وقائد أوركسترا.

 حياته

واحد من أشهر الموسيقيين في عصره. كانت أعمال سبور للألات تقارن بشكل جيد مع اعمال بيتهوفن وأيضاً لاقت إعجاب من أقرانه مثل مندلسون وشومان وشوبان والموسيقيون في العصر الرومانسي اللاحق برامز وتشايكوفسكي. كان عازف كمان ماهر فاعتبر الثاني في المرتبة بعد بجانيني حقق ايضا نجاحاً كمدرس حيث حقق كتابه Violin Tutor نسبة قراءة عالية

 حياته وموسيقاه

جاء شبور من أسرة موسيقية. فبدأ مشواره الفني كعازف موسيقى الحجرة في البلاط في برونسفيك قبل القيام بجولة في كل أنحاء ألمانيا كعازف كمان ماهر. عُيِّن قائداً للفرقة الموسيقية في جوثا.

بدأ التأليف، وصار أيضا أحد أوائل قادة الأوركسترا.

بعد المزيد من الجولات مع زوجته عازفة الهارب ونجاح جماهيري لعملين له للأوبرا استقر اخيرا في كاسل، حيث عمل قائد فرقة موسيقية كتب المزيد من الاعمال للأوپرا وسيمفونيات للأوركسترا. وقدم أعمالاً لباخ وفاجنر، ودرّس لعازفي الكمان في كل أنحاء اوروبا. تأثر كثيرا بموتسارت. تجمع موسيقاه بين القوالب الكلاسيكية وأنماط التعبير التي تنتمي لأوائل العصر الرومانسي.

اخترع لويس شپور مسند ذقن لعازفي الكمان حوالي سنة 1820. يستخدم عصا المايسترو baton، كما اخترع حروف التلقين، التي توضع دورياً في صفحة النوتة sheet music لتوفير الوقت على المايسترو والمُغنين ليبدأوا اللعب "من حرف C"، مثلاً.
