مادة كاشطة

المادة الكاشطة abrasive ، هي مادة تستعمل لطحن وتنعيم وشحذ وتلميع مختلف المواد والأدوات. وتشمل الكاشطات عموماً الشب و الماس و الجارنيت والسنباذج و الخفاف والرمل وكربيد السليكون. وتستعمل هذه المواد الكاشطة بكثرة في سحق وتلميع الزجاج وقطع غيار الآلات والأدوات البلاستيكية والمعدات ومنتجات أخرى كثيرة.
