العصب المبعد Abducens nerve : هو العصب القحفي السـادس. وهو عصب حركي يعصب إحدى عضلات العين وهي العضلة المستقيمة الوحشية.

يقع منشؤه الحقيقي في نواة العصب المبعد الواقعة في جذع الدماغ
المنشأ الظاهر
من الحافة السفلية للجسـر فوق هرم النخاع المتطاول (هرم البصلة).
المسار
يسير العصب بعد منشئه الظاهر عبر الصهريج الجسري, ثم ينفذ عبر الأم الجافية ويسير في الجدار الوحشي للجيب الكهفي قبل أن يخرج من القحف عبر الشق الحجاجي العلوي.
الوظيفة
يعصب في الحجاج العضلة المستقيمة الوحشية
