النشأة
ولد ايان سمرهولدر ونشأ في كوڤنگتن، لويزيانا، ابناً لإدنا، معالجة تدليك، وروبرت سمرهالدر، مقاول بناء مستقل.[1] بدأ العمل كعارض أزياء من سن 10 حتي 13،[2] وبسن 17 قرر أن يتجه لمجال التمثيل.
