الانقلاب الصيفي Summer solstice أو المنقلب الصيفي هو إحدى نقطتين في فلك البروج .

التاريخ

وفى تراثنا الفلكي يذكر الخوارزمي الانقلاب الصيفي بقوله: نقطة المنقلب الصيفي هى رأس السرطان لأن الشمس إذا بلغته تناهى طول النهار وبدأ في النقصان.


التوقيت

يحدث الانقلاب الصيفي في نحو 22 يونيو - حزيران من كل سنة حين تكون الشمس على مسافة 23,5 درجة شمال دائرة معدل النهار (خط الاستواء السماوي).
