دوا تيمور (Duwa Temür ؛ Дуватөмөр) أو تورى تيمور (Tore Temur ؛ Төртөмөр) كان خان خانية چقطاي لفترة في 1329/1330. كما كان ابن دوا Duwa.

كان دوتيمور (دوا) خاناً لخانية چقطاي (حكم تقريباً بين 1282 و1307م)، وهو والد تارما شيرين.

معنى الاسم

اسم «دوتيمور» (Du-Timur / Dü-Timur) يتكون من جزأين في اللغتين المنغولية والتركية: «دو» (Dü / Du): مشتقة من المنغولية (Дүү)، وتأتي بمعنى «الأخ الأصغر» أو «الشبيه / المماثل». «تيمور» (Timur / Temür): كلمة تركية-منغولية أصيلة تعني «الحديد». وبذلك يكون المعنى الإجمالي لاسم «دوتيمور»: «الحديد الأصغر» أو «الأخ الأصغر للحديد».

السيرة

He surrendered to the forces of the Yuan dynasty in 1313 when Esen Buqa I revolted against Yuan emperor Ayurbarwada whom he had paid tributes before. Duwa Temür became khan by overthrowing his brother إلجي‌گيدِيْ. Some Muslim sources claim that he himself was forcibly removed by another brother, Tarmashirin, who then took control of the Chagatai Khanate after only a short period of time. But it is known that he was still the ruler of the Chagatayids in 1330 from the Yuanshi and some European sources. Because Tarmashirin wrote in his letter that he was enthroned as Chagatai Khan in 1330 to the Yuan dynasty and the map published in China around 1330 also shows خانية چقطاي as the Ulus of Duwa Temur.

في عهده، كان إمبراطور يوان Tugh Temur (1328 - 1329 و 1329 - 1332) يأخذ ثلث موارد خيوة و خوت في خانية چقطاي.
