مكتبة بوسطن العامة هي أكبر مكتبة بلدية عامة في الولايات المتحدة. وكانت أول مكتبة عامة لبلدية يتم تدعيمها ، وأكبر مكتبة تفتتح للعامة في الولايات المتحدة ، وأول مكتبة تسمح باستعارة الكتب والمواد الأخرى للقراءة في المنازل.
