L'obélisque, place Carnot à Nancy. Il fut érigé par souscription publique en 1894 en mémoire de Sadi Carnot, président français, assassiné par un anarchiste italien à Lyon. Les bronzes ont été arrachés et fondus ultérieurement, à l'exception du pyramidion. Des noms sont inscrits dans la pierre.
