English: KP Mohanan, Agriculture Minister of Kerala presenting the award to INS Zamorin representatives at a special function held at Kannur on 23 Aug 2015. For the second consecutive year, INS Zamorin won second prize for implementation of ‘Kerala Green Drive’ initiative. Under the scheme, INS Zamorin had planted more than 30,000 trees and provided care to ensure their growth. It also developed vegetable garden which produced yields for day to day needs.
