English: The GVAR imager instrument onboard the NOAA GOES-13 satellite captured this visible image of Hurricane Katia on September 5, 2011, at 16:15 UTC. At the time this image was captured, Katia was a Category 3 hurricane with maximum sustained wind speeds of 115 mph (185 km/h), and its minimum central pressure was 950 mb.
