English: Coat of arms for the municipality of Inderøy (kommune), Norway The coat-of-arms is from modern times. They were granted on 5 October 1984. The arms show four European plaice on a red background. This fish was once plentiful and was one of the main sources of income for the area until around 1940.

Kommunevåpenet består av fire gyldne flyndrer på rød bunn og er tegnet av Nils Aas. Gullflyndra (Rødspette) fra fjordstykket Børgin er en lokal tradisjonsrett, noe som er bakgrunnen for valg av motiv. "I rødt fire opprette gull flyndrer, 1-2-1."[1]
