View westward, towards Exeter: ex-LSWR London etc. - Salisbury - Exeter (former) main line. The station had been closed 16/4/66 and the former main line reduced to single track soon after - as can be seen by the rusting Up line. On the left can just be seen the remnant of the lines serving the RAF Chilmark Depot, closed in 1994. |
