The Young China Society was an important national organization in the early years of the Republic of China . It imitated the " Young Italy " created by the Italian revolutionary Mazzini , so it was named the Young China Society. If it begins with the Yue Yun Villa meeting on June 30, 1918 and ends with the fifth annual meeting in Nanjing on July 20, 1925, the history of the society is seven years and ten days in total. The founding founding members are seven : Wang Guangqi , Zhou Taixuan , Chen Yusheng , Zhang Mengjiu , Zeng Qi , Lei Baojing and Li Dazhao [ 1 ] . They unite together with a passion for patriotism and national salvation, in order to save China from a dangerous situation surrounded by foreign powers and weak national power. As an association, this group of people not only conducts practical research in a pure scientific spirit, but also emphasizes its practical impact on society. They founded publications such as "Young China" to spread new ideas and promoted social activities such as work-study programs to cultivate national strength. Its ideal is to create a young China that never grows old. Although there are not many members, they are spread all over the country and abroad. Beijing , Nanjing , Jinan and Tianjin are all within its scope of activities. There is even a branch in Paris . Overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia are also important readers of the society's publications.

The mission of the Young China Society: "To inspire young people, study real knowledge, develop social undertakings, and change the customs of the last days." The credo of the Young China Society: “Strive, practice, perseverance, and frugality.” The first rule of the Young China Society: "The scientific spirit of this society is for social activities and the purpose is to create Young China."
