النظرية الحركية للغازات

النظرية الحركية Kinetic theory (أو النظرية الحركية أو الحركية-الجزيئية للغازات) هي نظرية تقول بأن كل المادة مكونة من عدد كبير من جسيمات صغيرة (ذرات أو جزيئات)، جميعها في حركة عشوائية ثابتة. وتتصادم الجسيمات سريعة الحركة بصفة منتظمة مع بعضها البعض ومع جدران الحاوية. وتشرح النظرية الحركية الخصائص macroscopic للغازات، مثل الضغط، درجة الحرارة أو الحجم، بالأخذ في الاعتبار تركيبهم الجزيئي وحركتهم. وفي الأساس، فإن النظرية تقول بأن الضغط ليس سببه التنافر الاستاتيكي بين الجزيئات ، كما كانت تقول حدسية اسحق نيوتن، ولكن بسبب التصادمات بين الجزيئات المتحركة بسرعات مختلفة.

درجة حرارة غاز أحادي الذرة مثالي هي مقياس يرتبط بمتوسط الطاقة الحركية لذراته أثناء حركتهم. في هذا التحريك التوضيحي، فإن حجم ذرات الهليوم بالنسبة للفراغ بينهم موضح بمقياس أقل من 1950 ضغط جوي من الضغط. تلك الذرات عند درجة حرارة الغرفة يكون لها سرعة متوسطة محددة (معرضة هنا بشكل أبطأ بمقدار 2 ترليون مرة).

While the particles making up a gas are too small to be visible, the jittering motion of pollen grains or dust particles which can be seen under a microscope, known as حركة براونية, results directly from collisions between the particle and air molecules. This experimental evidence for kinetic theory, pointed out by ألبرت أينشتاين in 1905, is generally seen as having confirmed the existence of atoms and molecules.
