إتج تاوي ( Itjtawy ؛ /ɪʃˈtaʊwi/[بحاجة لمصدر] ؛ الاسم المصري الكامل: Amenemhat-itj-tawy — "أمنمحات، الممسك بالأرضين")، هو اسم المدينة الملكية التي أسسها كعاصمة جديدة ملك الأسرة الثانية عشر المصرية أمنمحات الأول، الذي حكم من حوالي سنة 1991 ق.م. إلى 1962 ق.م.، في السنة 20 من حكمه.[1] As yet, the exact location of the royal city remains unidentified. Itjtawy is known to have been located في منطقة الفيوم and documentation exists that its cemeteries were كانت تقع في اللشت و اللاهون و دهشور.

Relocation of the capital may have been a strategic move. The site for Itjtawy may have been chosen for its proximity to the source of Asiatic incursions into Egypt, in order to help prevent further attacks.[2]
