هجوم بحري

الهجوم البحري naval offensive، هو انتشار هجومي للقوات البحرية أثناء الحملة العسكرية للتوفير العملياتي أو التكتيكي للاستخدام الآمن لطرق الشحن،[1] أو للمناطق الساحلية للشحن الودي، أو لمنع مرور شحنات العدو.

عادة ما يهدف الهجوم البحري إلى "الحصول على التفوق المحدد عند نقطة التأثير"،[2] وكان يعتبر أفضل استراتيجية في اوروپا ضد تهديدات الغزو منذ العصور الوسطى.[3]

قد يتضمن الهجوم البحري على استخدام مركبات القتال فوق سطح البحر أو الغواصات،[4] أو كلاهما كما حدث في معركة هليگولاند بايت،[5] وحاملات طائرات[6] أو المروحيات الساحلية ثابتة الجناح وقوات الهجوم البرمائي للقيام بالهجوم كوسيلة "لحماية القوات البحرية من الأهداف الأرضية"،[7] أو لدعمها عن طريق القوات الناقلة.[8]
