Includes two CCD cameras, a narrow-angle camera (NAC) and a wide-angle camera (WAC) mounted to a pivoting platform. The camera system will provide a complete map of the surface of Mercury at a resolution of 250 meters/pixel with 20–50 meters/pixel images of regions of geologic interest. Color imaging is possible only with the narrow-band filter wheel attached to the wide-angle camera.[12][13]
